LaDainian Tomlinson just released from the Chargers- like a used TOASTER!

Monday, February 22, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Kitchen Gourmet Toaster Oven, Toaster Oven Muffin, Toaster SlotI can NOT believe the Chargers released LaDainian Tomlinson!

To me that is like taking that Oster Digital Toaster you've had for 8 years, then just pulling the plug!

Just because maybe Mr. Oster doesn't toast as fast as he used to... or brown the edges just right.   It just doesn't mean you QUIT on him!

No decent human being can just give up on Oster like that... tossing him in the pile for the summer garage sale with all the other defunkt toasters.

There's more in him than that.  Even if there are a lot of other options out there... like the Krups Convection Toaster Oven or the Tfal Avante Elite Toaster Oven.  But sooner or later THOSE won't last either...

So just remember that bond you had with Mr. Oster Digital Toaster and give him a second chance!  He will still get the job done!

Stuffed Full of Cheesecake... I Could Make This in My Toaster Oven!

Sunday, February 21, 2010 by Jane Toast

ktichen gourmet toaster oven, toasters for saleI had an amazing slice of cheesecake today from the Cheesecake factory... and by slice, I mean, mountain high slab of creamy goodness topped off with heaps of fluffy whipcream.

My only question was could I replicate this at home?

Maybe in a Krups convection toaster oven, I could get the cream cheese baked just right.  Of course, I'd have to use one of those fancy Kitchenaid mixers I've been eyeing for about 10 years now... yeah, the self-restraint is so respectable, right?

Sorry- back to cheesecake...

Since I'm not feeding an army here, I think I could get away with making a miniature version of today's treat in my cusinart toaster oven.  I'm sure of it.   Stay tuned... I think I'll try this out.

Shutter Island... LESS Thrilling than a Toast-R-Oven

Sunday, February 21, 2010 by Jane Toast

toast-r-oven, kitchen convection toaster oven

Saw another movie recently, and I couldn't be LESS thrilled about it.  I'm 2 for 2 for bad movies lately, I'm so glad that my Cuisinart Toaster oven reviews are nothing like my opinions about the last two flicks.

I mean, the plot, the destination, the story line... so much great potential.  But, I'm telling you.   Not that I'm biased or anything, but tfal toaster ovens will hold your attention longer than this film will.

Too bad too.  I'm such a fan of Lenardo Di Caprio.

Oh, well... save yourself some cash, wait for it to come out on cable for free... and go have a toasted cheese sammie instead, made in your mountable toaster oven.

It will keep you so much better entertained.

Jane Toast Says: What Is Up With Curling?

Sunday, February 21, 2010 by Jane Toast
curling, toasters for sale, kitchen gourmet toaster ovenI'm amazed by this sport.  Between my Cuisinart toaster oven reviews, I admit I've been watching the 2010 winter olympics, and whenever curling comes on... I can't turn away.  I don't know what it is.

It's not like it gets me up on the edge of my seat, like when I'm just ready for my toast to pop up out of an Oster digital toaster, but... I keep staring.  I think it's fascinating, and I just know there's more strategy behind it than I know about.

From an innocent Jane Toast bystander viewpoint, I feel like I'm watching a giant, slow game of shuffleboard, where the contestants are allowed to cheat the system by scrubbing the ice in front of the "puck".

(Excuse my ignorance... I'm sure I have the terminology all wrong here...)

How does this all work, and how have they build a sport around it?!?!  I just don't understand.

Can someone please explain?

I want to shove a toaster down the ice and see how well it performs.
I think a red four slice toaster could beat this thing in a curling match any day of the week.

Well, hopefully someone has some insight they can share with me.  Otherwise, I'll just continue to watch and cheer when the other fans start cheering.  I'm a team player after all... even if I don't get it.

The Slotless Toaster!

Is this the Next Generation of Toasters?

Introducing the slotless toaster!  This device can toast any type of bread, regardless of its thickness.

The way it works is -  bread is placed directly on the heated flatbed surface - not inside narrow slots where sometimes you have to use a fork to get the toast out.

You can toast thick bagels or croissants, Texas toast, or baguettes. The toaster has a 700-watt heating element that radiates through the stainless-steel surface.

It also can be used for browning or defrosting bread quickly and evenly. You can select your preferred level of browning with the turn of a dial.  And the under-mounted crumb tray slides out for fast, easy cleanup.

I am not totally sold on this device yet.  I am still a sucker for a Delonghi Four Slice Toaster or a Oster Copper Toaster.

Let me know your thoughts!  Is this the Next Generation of Toaster?

STOP THIEF!!!! Toaster Repair Work

Friday, February 19, 2010 by Jane Toast
cusinart toaster oven, tfal convection toaster ovenI think this comic strip features a sneaky little guy... claiming to "fix" a perfectly good toaster.

Read it.  Yep.  Super Sneaky.

He should have tried to lift a white Cuisinart toaster oven, it would have been even less OBVIOUS!!!

Come on mortal... you should've seen this coming.

But, wow.   It's so not considerate to go stealing someone's oster cool touch toaster like that... this guy should go buy Breville toaster online for himself.

SHEESH.   Didn't his mama teach him anything?

The best toaster-shop is right here at Global Toaster everyday of the week!

BZZZZZT!

Only a mortal couldn't figure that out!

The Tfal Convection Toaster Oven....

Thursday, February 18, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Cuisinart Toaster Oven Reviews, Oster Copper Toaster, Red Four Slice Toaster, Toaster Oven MuffinNow this is what I am talking about!

This is the Tfal Avante Elite Convection Toaster Oven.  We are not talking about any normal Toaster Oven... this is the Golden Child

This has a super large interior which could easily accommodate an 11-inch pizza.  HUGE selling point!  That is one big reason why I love it!

Another reason is that it has a unique warming compartment on top that allows for warming of bread or side dishes while dinner is cooking.  This is a nice feature that most Toaster Ovens do not offer.

Me being the Toast fanatic that I am, noticed that it also has an electronic browning control with nine settings that allows for consistent toasting slice after slice.

You can never get enough Toast!
And FAST enough!!!

So if you feel like treating yourself to something special... then the Tfal Convection Toaster Oven is for you!

Toaster Concept... Close, But No Cigar

Thursday, February 18, 2010 by Jane Toast
egg n muffin toaster, bacon toaster, light blue toasterYep - this might be a preliminary concept-stage version of the egg n muffin toaster we all know and love now.

But, bacon in a light blue toaster?  hmmm... it's not quite there.

Think about the drippy bacon grease... the electrical parts involved...

A compact toaster oven would be a better idea for cooking bacon.  And, for health freaks... turkey bacon is a little bit less greasy.  Try that out sometime.

As for me, I like to crispy up my BREAD in my two slot toaster, and I'll stick with cooking my bacon in my Cuisinart toaster oven stainless... for safety sake.

I still haven't purchased that egg and muffin toaster yet.  I will.  It's on the bucket list.   A must have in my life.  I guarantee... IT WILL BE MINE!!!

Proctor Silex Toaster Oven...for the Space Age Party

Wednesday, February 17, 2010 by Chris PY Waffle
proctor silex toaster ovenSet out to do a Proctor Silex Toaster Oven Review I am trying to figure out what feature to highlight first.

Well...as you can see from the picture, this is one large black toaster oven!  For a family or just something to keep in the pantry and pull out for parties, this baby seems like it's the right size to back up a traditional oven.   The other great thing about the Proctor Silex Toaster Oven is its price.   Frankly, it's cheap.  We have a similar model to this one and it's only gets used a few times a year....so price can be an important consideration.

I've heard about the Europro Toaster Oven and I'm going to have to do some investigating, but if you look at this design, I can't imagine something that is more 'euro'....

Actually, it looks more like something from Star Trek...like I should just ask it for something and they miraculously appear....

"Hello Proctor Silex."  Crab cakes please."

The Olympic Challange!

Wednesday, February 17, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Undercounter Toaster Oven, Mountable Toaster Oven, Oster Digital ToasterDoes this look like someone who wants to wait on breakfast?

Absolutely not!!  Apolo Anton Ohno has training to do.  He wants to start his day off with a quick bite and then get right to training.

Olympians (like Apolo) train for years for their one chance at a Gold Medal.  If you are as dominant as he is... then you might get a chance to win a lot of Olympic medals.

Not sure exactly what Apolo eats for breakfast, but I am sure it is not fast food!  He probably travels with his own Tfal Convection Toaster Oven.  That way he can have the option of just eating Toast or making a Toasted sandwich... maybe with some turkey on it.  Not sure... but I guarantee Apolo has it all planned out!

One thing I do know, you don't become successful overnight!  It takes a lot of hard work and dedication.  Take it from someone like Apolo who is competing in his 3rd Olympics in Vancouver.

I know if I was giving out awards for the Olympics... it would be a Gold Toaster!

Toaster Die Cast...Does That Even Make Any Sense?

Wednesday, February 17, 2010 by Chris PY Waffle
So as it should become obvious to anyone who comes across this blog that our goal here is to write content that might entertain, but the primary goal is to leverage this content to target toaster keywords.

So sometimes you might see goofy lines like "Toaster Die Cast" which normally would make no sense at all unless you understand the context.

Saying all that to say this:  What makes a die cast kitchen appliance like this so special is the sense of quality you get.   Only the best stainless steel toaster comes die cast.

Ok drivel…   I know.  I only wish I sometimes knew more about what I was talking about.....

What I do know is that you should never scrimp on a toasting device.   And you have come to the right spot to buy toaster online (right, another sentence that makes very little sense... lol)

Dualit 2-slice Toaster...One of the Best

Wednesday, February 17, 2010 by Chris PY Waffle
light blue toaster, cobalt blue toaster, dualit toaster, dualit blue toasterOne of the best toasters you can buy according to Men's Journal is the Dualit 2-slice toaster.  You are going to really like the manually operated lift leaver that keeps the toaster down until your are ready for it.

Never forget that looks matter!

I'm jealous of Jane for coming up with that toaster song the other day so I'm working on a country song about my infatuation with Dualit...

"Two Slice Metal Toaster Stainless Steel...let me tell you how I truly feel..

My love for you is really, really real"

You never burn my bagels, you never fail to please...I'm really sorry I tried to make a grilled cheese..."

Ok that sucked  LOL

iPhone Toaster? Interesting

Wednesday, February 17, 2010 by Jane Toast
oster cool touch toaster, buy breville toaster, compact toaster ovenSo I stumbled across this funny little cartoon about the iPhone heating up so much that it should double as a toaster...

BRILLIANT!

How convenient would it  be to have a kitchen gourmet toaster iphone?  HELLO?!?!?

...crispy toast on the go, along with your GPS mapping, telephone, and all the other apps that the iPhone brings to your fingertips!!!  Why didn't I think of this?

Can you just hear it ringing, then HOT TOAST!  I'd prefer mine to be a lime green toaster iphone.  I bet a light blue toaster iPhone would look equally as cool as well.

Who cares about the color when you get prefectly crispy toast on the go anyways?!?!?!

I wonder if they'd burn the image of the Apple logo into the toast... they should of course.  Anything without would just be an imposter.

Me Not You - Favorite Toaster Music Video

Wednesday, February 17, 2010 by Jane Toast
So, this is it.  I watched Dear John today at the movie theater...

um... it was long, drawn out and just plain weird.  But, it's a story about love, right?  Well... not to blow the whole story, but I guess sometimes... the love story, just isn't "perfect"?

Case in point- check this lightwave toaster love story of a music video out.  The classic: "It's ME NOT YOU" line, and from the little light blue toaster.

Clearly breaking this poor guy's heart.  <sigh>

It's very touching, especially the ending.  You'll have to watch the journey of what could be a Cuisinart toaster bagel, go off to muffinland and then somehow find its way!

I mean, it found its way and wound up right where it should have been in the first place, with the kitchen gourmet toaster love of its life!

A story-book happy ending... sort of... just watch the video and see for yourself:

New Toaster Technologies!

Tuesday, February 16, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Cuisinart Toaster Oven Reviews, Mountable Toaster Oven, Slot Bagel ToasterTime goes by and so do new technologies.  New devices are living proof  that all good things must come to an end... yeah, well, sometimes.

Take for example the microwave.  Up until now, whenever you talked about heating anything up and doing it quickly, the first thing that comes to mind is "NUKE IT!"

Well, NO MORE I say.

Take the infrared light toaster oven for example.  You can zap that meal hot in no time with this thing.

Micro-schmicro!

Word on the street is that new flash express technology helps to toast up frozen pizza faster than you can say - WHAMBO... I mean, faster than... conventional toaster ovens.

So even with technology advancing so fast, who's to say microwaves have the corner on heating things quickly?

I enjoy using my Tfal Convection Toaster Oven.  It does the job I need it to do- so just try and stop me!

Egg and muffin toasters ROCK!

Tuesday, February 16, 2010 by Chris PY Waffle
egg n muffin toaster, back to basics egg and muffin toasterSeriously...I thought Jane Toast was nuts when she started talking about an Egg and Muffin toaster.  I had just purchased a Tefal four slice Toaster and couldn't think that I would ever want to have another device.

But here is the thing.  I love eggs.   So I was thinking...."the office!" "Ali's cool.  She won't mind the smell of breakfast cooking...will she?"

Well I bit the bullet and bought one.   You can see the picture right here of it in use, and I'll have a couple more.

Let me just say, this really works!  I tried it today and it really worked and it will work in the office too.

Dualit with a Sandwich Maker

Tuesday, February 16, 2010 by Chris PY Waffle
dualit three slot toaster, dualit stainless steel toaster, dualit 3-slice toasterI was intrigued by this picture of a Dualit 4-slice toaster with a sandwich maker accessory.

Can you really make a sandwich in a Euro Pro Kitchen Toaster?  Well, apparently you can if it's a Dualit.   I'm guessing that with the wide 28mm slots it probably works pretty well.

Some of the review I've seen suggest using that really thin Pepperidge Farms slice bread for best results.  This seems like a pretty good idea.

I'm curious about drips and stuff.  Will the cheese leak out and into the crumb tray?   Anyone have any experience with making a Toaster Sandwich in a Dualit I'd sure like to hear about it.

Give me your best toaster oven reviews.

Movies & Toast!!

Tuesday, February 16, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Delonghi Four Slice Toaster, Red Four Slice Toaster, Oster Copper Toaster

My absolutely two favorite things to do are....

Watching Movies and using my Oster Countertop Toaster to make my favorite snack... Toast!  Specially this time of year with all the snow we have been getting in my area.

Once the weekend gets here... I usually log in to http://moviemarkblog.com to check out the latest movie reviews.  Whether I am looking for a rental or thinking about going to the movies, I really like to see what MovieMark had to say about them.

Then once I have established what I am going to do.  The only question is, am I sneaking in toast to the Movie Theater or using my Countertop Toaster at home.  Either way it is going to be a Great Day!

So don't let your weekends go by to fast!  Whether you have a Delonghi Four Slice Toaster or a Tfal Convection Toaster Oven.  Fix your favorite snack and enjoy a Great movie!

Hi... Do You Like My Toasters?

Tuesday, February 16, 2010 by Jane Toast
lime green toaster, toaster shirt, kitchen gourmet toaster ovenUh... yes.  Yes, I do.  Thank you for asking.

This might be my favorite lime green toaster monster pick up t-shirt EVER.  Not that I've seen one before... but this is AWESOME.

What girl could resist a guy in THIS Toaster T-Shirt?

Seriously... only a compact toaster oven fool wouldn't see the humor in this great shirt.

Guys, wear this out to the bars...
instant conversation starter.   How could it not be?

Any girl would definitely be IMMEDIATELY attracted to you wearing this.  I'd improve it by adding a Oster cool touch toaster to it, possibly a kitchenaid toaster oven red.

I mean, there's no reason you can't show off the variety of toasters in your collection with your t-shirt!  THINK ABOUT IT!!!

JR's Museum - Toasters Included!

Monday, February 15, 2010 by Jane Toast
toaster oven muffin, delonghi four slice toaster, red four slice toaster, oster copper toasterI met some new friends at the Toaster Collector's Association this past October, one of which is JR, the owner of a Small Electric Appliance Musuem out in Missouri.

Look at this photo of his collection.
Yes, those are all classic metal toasters.

I can't tell from this photo if my favorite Delonghi four slice toaster would be included... these look like they may be more antique than modern, but it might be there.

If you're in the Missouri area, you should stop in and see this place.  JR is super friendly and extremely knowledgeable about his collection of small appliances, he even has more than just my favorite.

I hope to make a trip out there to see if I can find a Munsey toaster oven in the mix.  You never know...  If you want more info about one of my new friend's speciality shop, click to his website.

If you're looking to buy something new, like a oster copper toaster you've found the place: Global Toaster.
