Cat vs TOAST.... Who Will WIN??

Wednesday, March 3, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Pink Kitchen Aid Toaster, Toaster Oven By Cuisinart, Toastmaster Bagel ToasterLet's say you grab yourself two pieces of bread...

Then you insert the bread in to your Kitchenaid Stainless Steel Toaster Oven (or whatever kind of toaster you have.)

Once the toast is finished.  You need to properly butter the Toast...

Now, if you would attach the Toast... butter-side down to the back of a cat... is this really what would happen??

I am not sure that I want to find out.

I think am going to stick with reading my Cuisinart Toaster Oven Reviews and eating the toast that I make.

But let me know if any of you try this.  It has to defy gravity, right?

The Rollertoaster! What's Next??

Wednesday, March 3, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Kitchen Gourmet Toaster Oven, Toastmaster Toaster Ovens, Oster Inspire ToasterCheck this Rollertoaster out!  Fan or Not... it definitely turns some heads!

The design sort of reminds me of the evolution of big bulky TV's to flat screens.  It seems like we are always trying to design something thin and sleek to draw peoples attention.

Now with a TV... I agree, thinner the better.

But on a white toaster... Come on Cletis!  Next thing I know, I will be wondering if my toast is coming out 720p brown or 1080p brown.

I think I will stick with something like a Cuisinart Retro Toaster Oven or a Oster Two Slice Toaster.

You can only really appreciate the fine art of Toasting in HD anyways!

American Idol's Dressing Room Toaster!

Thursday, February 25, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Undercounter Toaster Oven, Oster Counterforms Toaster, Oster Red ToasterOn the set with American Idol...

Here is a sneak peak of the kind of Toaster you should find in the dressing room of American Idol.

You would think that they would have some commercial size toaster, like a Cuisinart Digital Toaster Oven or a Pearl Metallic Toaster.  But no... they're probably equipped with the Radio 2-Slot Toaster!

I guess while getting ready for their performance, the contestants can sing along with their favorite tunes and grab some toast for a quick snack.  That is one thing... you never want to perform on an empty stomach.

Hopefully, this American Idol season is as enjoyable as last year!

If you don't enjoy the tunes, at least you can enjoy your toast.

Stuffed My Belly at Maggiano's! Toaster Oven Style!

Thursday, February 25, 2010 by Burnt Toast
cusinart toaster oven, toaster slot, toasters for saleI just ate so much I can't breathe.

How many times have you done it?  Sat down at a family-style restaurant (because "family-style" = stuff your face) and thought... I shouldn't be here.

Yep.  That was me tonight.

It kinda reminds me of when I'm staring at a plate of Eggo waffles... there's no limit.  I dive in, and keep going.  I'm lucky the Oster counterforms toaster by my side can keep up with the flurry of powdered sugar and crispy waffles flying at my face.

But, this was no plate of waffles... nooo....

I mean, I'm sooooo miserable.  I'll be spending the next 8 hours digesting (what should have been a plate full of waffles) spicy, heavy Italian food... ugh.  Talk about heartburn.

I never feel this way after dining on anything out of a Cuisinart toaster oven white or a 2 slot bagel toaster.  Learned my lesson... again.

Maybe I can sleep this off.

The MRI Toaster!

Thursday, February 25, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Oster Red Toaster, Undercounter Toaster Oven, Toasters for sale, Slot Bagel ToasterCheck this new technology out!

This is the next generation of Toasters!  drum roll please!

It is not your ordinary Sunbeam Toaster oven or even a Pearl Metallic Toaster.  Actually I am not sure what you would call it.

To me it looks like your sending your bread in for an MRI.
Maybe to check to see how much yeast is in the slice or to get the carbohydrate breakdown.  Hopefully the bread you buy is not claustrophobic!  Watch out TOAST!

I do know one thing.... there would be no more reaching in with your fingers, trying to grab that piece of toast out of the slots.

You don't pop in bread from above but rather, you slide the bread in from the side... sideways.   When the toasting process is done, the bread slides back out.  It's a thing of genius.

I guess it is a neat process.  But I am a little old school and like to hear my Toast "POP" when it is done!

Does Justin Bieber use a Toaster?

Tuesday, February 23, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Tfal Toaster Ovens, Kitchenaid Toaster Oven Red, Slot Bagel Toaster, Undercounter Toaster OvenIs Justin Bieber becoming so big that he doesn't use a Toaster?

This young star is rising to the top quick!  I wonder if he gets any time to enjoy the use of a Toaster.  I know when I was a kid, I looked forward to every morning putting my 2 Brown Sugar Cinnamon Pop Tarts in my Red Four Slice Toaster.  It was my favorite breakfast!  "YUMMY"!!

Now... Justin probably has his entire entourage run to the nearest bakery that has a Kitchen Gourmet Toaster Oven of some sort and pick up a few croissants for him.  Which isn't a bad idea either.

You never know though... most celebs just like to be treated as people just like everyone else.  Justin could be eating Eggo Waffles every morning (which is what I think) and cooking Hot Pockets in his Tfal Avante Elite Toaster Oven in the evenings for dinner.

No matter what I think... I am sure there will be a Tell All book about Justin Bieber by the time he is 18.  Then we can find out all of his secrets.

LaDainian Tomlinson just released from the Chargers- like a used TOASTER!

Monday, February 22, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Kitchen Gourmet Toaster Oven, Toaster Oven Muffin, Toaster SlotI can NOT believe the Chargers released LaDainian Tomlinson!

To me that is like taking that Oster Digital Toaster you've had for 8 years, then just pulling the plug!

Just because maybe Mr. Oster doesn't toast as fast as he used to... or brown the edges just right.   It just doesn't mean you QUIT on him!

No decent human being can just give up on Oster like that... tossing him in the pile for the summer garage sale with all the other defunkt toasters.

There's more in him than that.  Even if there are a lot of other options out there... like the Krups Convection Toaster Oven or the Tfal Avante Elite Toaster Oven.  But sooner or later THOSE won't last either...

So just remember that bond you had with Mr. Oster Digital Toaster and give him a second chance!  He will still get the job done!

The Slotless Toaster!

Is this the Next Generation of Toasters?

Introducing the slotless toaster!  This device can toast any type of bread, regardless of its thickness.

The way it works is -  bread is placed directly on the heated flatbed surface - not inside narrow slots where sometimes you have to use a fork to get the toast out.

You can toast thick bagels or croissants, Texas toast, or baguettes. The toaster has a 700-watt heating element that radiates through the stainless-steel surface.

It also can be used for browning or defrosting bread quickly and evenly. You can select your preferred level of browning with the turn of a dial.  And the under-mounted crumb tray slides out for fast, easy cleanup.

I am not totally sold on this device yet.  I am still a sucker for a Delonghi Four Slice Toaster or a Oster Copper Toaster.

Let me know your thoughts!  Is this the Next Generation of Toaster?

The Tfal Convection Toaster Oven....

Thursday, February 18, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Cuisinart Toaster Oven Reviews, Oster Copper Toaster, Red Four Slice Toaster, Toaster Oven MuffinNow this is what I am talking about!

This is the Tfal Avante Elite Convection Toaster Oven.  We are not talking about any normal Toaster Oven... this is the Golden Child

This has a super large interior which could easily accommodate an 11-inch pizza.  HUGE selling point!  That is one big reason why I love it!

Another reason is that it has a unique warming compartment on top that allows for warming of bread or side dishes while dinner is cooking.  This is a nice feature that most Toaster Ovens do not offer.

Me being the Toast fanatic that I am, noticed that it also has an electronic browning control with nine settings that allows for consistent toasting slice after slice.

You can never get enough Toast!
And FAST enough!!!

So if you feel like treating yourself to something special... then the Tfal Convection Toaster Oven is for you!

The Olympic Challange!

Wednesday, February 17, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Undercounter Toaster Oven, Mountable Toaster Oven, Oster Digital ToasterDoes this look like someone who wants to wait on breakfast?

Absolutely not!!  Apolo Anton Ohno has training to do.  He wants to start his day off with a quick bite and then get right to training.

Olympians (like Apolo) train for years for their one chance at a Gold Medal.  If you are as dominant as he is... then you might get a chance to win a lot of Olympic medals.

Not sure exactly what Apolo eats for breakfast, but I am sure it is not fast food!  He probably travels with his own Tfal Convection Toaster Oven.  That way he can have the option of just eating Toast or making a Toasted sandwich... maybe with some turkey on it.  Not sure... but I guarantee Apolo has it all planned out!

One thing I do know, you don't become successful overnight!  It takes a lot of hard work and dedication.  Take it from someone like Apolo who is competing in his 3rd Olympics in Vancouver.

I know if I was giving out awards for the Olympics... it would be a Gold Toaster!

New Toaster Technologies!

Tuesday, February 16, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Cuisinart Toaster Oven Reviews, Mountable Toaster Oven, Slot Bagel ToasterTime goes by and so do new technologies.  New devices are living proof  that all good things must come to an end... yeah, well, sometimes.

Take for example the microwave.  Up until now, whenever you talked about heating anything up and doing it quickly, the first thing that comes to mind is "NUKE IT!"

Well, NO MORE I say.

Take the infrared light toaster oven for example.  You can zap that meal hot in no time with this thing.

Micro-schmicro!

Word on the street is that new flash express technology helps to toast up frozen pizza faster than you can say - WHAMBO... I mean, faster than... conventional toaster ovens.

So even with technology advancing so fast, who's to say microwaves have the corner on heating things quickly?

I enjoy using my Tfal Convection Toaster Oven.  It does the job I need it to do- so just try and stop me!

Movies & Toast!!

Tuesday, February 16, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Delonghi Four Slice Toaster, Red Four Slice Toaster, Oster Copper Toaster

My absolutely two favorite things to do are....

Watching Movies and using my Oster Countertop Toaster to make my favorite snack... Toast!  Specially this time of year with all the snow we have been getting in my area.

Once the weekend gets here... I usually log in to http://moviemarkblog.com to check out the latest movie reviews.  Whether I am looking for a rental or thinking about going to the movies, I really like to see what MovieMark had to say about them.

Then once I have established what I am going to do.  The only question is, am I sneaking in toast to the Movie Theater or using my Countertop Toaster at home.  Either way it is going to be a Great Day!

So don't let your weekends go by to fast!  Whether you have a Delonghi Four Slice Toaster or a Tfal Convection Toaster Oven.  Fix your favorite snack and enjoy a Great movie!

The Printer Toaster!

Friday, February 12, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Kitchenaid Toaster Oven Red, Cuisinart Toaster Oven Reviews, Cuisinart Toaster Oven StainlessI know we have a lot of computer nerds out there.... including me!

Usually we resort to starving ourselves when we're involved in a raid or on a quest.   We wouldn't want to actually get up out of our chair that sits right in front of the monitor.

The fear!

What if we missed something?!?!?!

Well I have the perfect solution here...  look at this photo.  It's perfect.

No, it is not the Cuisinart black chrome toaster or the Delonghi convection toaster oven that we all know and love.  But, it is the Printer Toaster.  Although it has no USB ports on it.  Not sure how that works...

It is spacious and fits right next to your computer.  All you have to do is grab your favorite kind of bread and stash it somewhere so that you have easy access to it.  Then BOOM!!  You have instant meals at your side without your fingers ever leaving the keyboard.

Your WOW friends will never even know that you are actually eating!

Now, I know a Microwave Toaster Oven Combo would be your first choice as a gamer, but this Printer Toaster is AWESOME!!  The best part is... you never run out of "ink"!

The Mechanics of a Toaster....

Friday, February 12, 2010 by Burnt Toast
buy Breville Toaster, Cuisinart Toaster Bagel, Compact Toaster Oven

Do you ever think we take how a toaster works for granted ?

I know I do!

I just expect to push down on the lever of my Kitchen Aid toaster oven and expect it to pop up and give me my toast not too Burnt!

If you actually take a second to think about it.... (don't hurt yourself.)

It is really pretty interesting.  We see the outside of a white Cuisinart toaster oven and we think.... How elegant!

We see a Stainless Cuisinart Toaster Oven and we think.... Wow that looks GREAT with my Stainless appliances.  What a perfect match.

All this is true.... but when you look inside of a simple toaster, there is a lot of work that goes into it!  So many buttons and crazy wires connecting all over the place.  All that work and engineering just so we can push down a lever and create something as masterful as TOAST!

Thank You engineers!  Keep up the Great Work!!

Tailgate toast!

Thursday, February 11, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Kitchen Gourmet Toaster Oven, Tfal Convection Toaster Oven, Commercial Bagel Toasters

This past fall I had to get back to the basics in tailgating, I only wish I had gotten a back to the basics toaster for the entire football season!

I took a road trip up to South Bend to watch the IRISH play and get back on track by toasting the Spartans!

The tailgate was awesome, we started out by doing a little kegs and eggs using a toaster with egg cooker! Great start to the morning, with some farm fresh eggs and two slices of wheat toast! We debated over the toaster with egg cooker versus the egg n muffin toaster, but the toaster with egg cooker won out! Needed a little more sustenance on a day like that.

Next we moved on to the real deal with some brats and sausages! Here's where it got a little crazy...ever had a brat cooked in a toaster?!?!? My friend's dad had the best two slice toaster I've ever seen! He toasted the bun in one slot and stuck the brat in the other! Now that's innovation!

By this time I was getting toasted, like you had stuck me in a 4-slice toaster!!! I had tapped the Rockies a few times at this point, if you know what I mean.

This was when I noticed the Michigan State fans using a "Hello Kitty Toaster Oven" at the tailgate next to me. NO COMMENT.

Then it was game time...the band, the gold helmets, J.C. looking down on us! Oh baby! I stopped at the concession stand to grab a bottle of water, and I noticed they not only had a classic toaster behind the counter, but they also had a couple of commercial bagel toasters. ND really knows how to do it!!

Moving into the last few minutes of the game, I thought he IRISH might be toast again....then the real J.C. (#7), hooked up with Golden Toast (Tate) for a big score on a 33 yard pass! Here we go! My pulse jumped, my heart skipped a beat. Then I might as well have shoved a toaster down my throat, as the Spartans started to drive down the field. Not this again! With just about a minute left, my boy Kyle snatched the ball out of the sky for the big interception....and an IRISH victory!

I have changed McCarthy's nickname to Gold Toaster!

After the game I celebrated with a few more libations and decided to go back to the classic toaster for one more round of food.

Nothing better than getting back to the basics! We turned Sparty into a piece of burnt toast!

I already can not wait till next season starts, I'm going to take a green toaster oven for good luck! Not like we'll need it though.

GO IRISH!!

The TOASTER Hangover??

Tuesday, February 9, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Toaster Apple Green, Oster Four Slice Toaster, Microwave Toaster Oven ComboThis picture cracks me up!!

Not sure if this guy is happy about his blue willow Toaster Tattoo, or if he is in shock and trying to figure out how he got it.

To me it looks like he had a rough night out... just the night before.  Could this be a scene from The Hangover?

I guess he could have listed different styles of toasters up and down his arm like... Onyx Black Toaster, Delonghi Convection Toaster Oven or Proctor Silex Extra Large Toaster

Who knows what his expression would look like then?!?

I know that I am a true fan of all blue toasters, but to get a tattoo of one... that is true commitment!  None the less... I would hang out with this guy anytime!

Especially, now that he's sporting that TAT!

Toaster Dinners!

Tuesday, February 9, 2010 by Burnt Toast

Conveyor Bagel Toaster, Tfal Convection Toaster Oven, Quality Toaster OvenThat's right.... I said dinners!

Not only do I use my Cuisinart four slice toaster every morning, I really enjoy using it at night!  Toasting anything from English muffins to Frozen waffles.  Eating breakfast foods for dinner is one of my favorite things to do.

You know what I am talking about.

Remember when you were a kid and your mom would make you pancakes for dinner.... it was awesome!  Pancakes are still one of my favorite things to have for dinner.  I just never enjoyed cleaning up all the dishes after wards.  That is another reason I enjoy using toasters.  Easy clean-up after every use.

I also love to use the Breville Convection Toaster to make dinner.  I just break out some bread and turkey.... stick it in the Breville toaster oven and BOOM...

You get a great toasted turkey sandwich.

So just remember... you can use a classic toaster for any occasion.... Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner!

The Dream of being Superman!!

Tuesday, February 2, 2010 by Burnt Toast
Conveyor Bagel Toaster, Slice Metal Classic Toaster, Tfal Convection Toaster OvenAs a child growing up.... I always wanted to be Superman!

The ability to see through walls, the ability to fly and even the ability to shoot laser's out of my eyes always seemed cool.  Well, needless to say... THAT never happened.  Not sure why??  Guess my Superman cape was too small....

Well the other day.... I came across something that made my dream come true!!  And as you might of guessed... it was a two slice toaster

It was not one of those Under the Cabinet Toaster Ovens.... it was a see through toaster!

Not only was I able to see through it, if I really strained my eyes and stared at the bread.... (and of-course pushed the lever down)

I could see these red lines get brighter and start to turn the bread into Toast!  It made me feel pretty powerfull!

Then I had to turn quickly around to make sure my wife was not watching me.... WOW.... that would of been awkward!

I guess sometimes it is the simple things in life like a, stainless steel toaster, that makes you feel special!

I really like the Cuisinart Toaster Oven.  It is very affordable and user friendly.  They offer a lot of options as far as styles and price range.

Toaster..... A Gift for Any Occasion!

Tuesday, January 19, 2010 by Burnt Toast

Haier toaster oven, proctor and silex toaster, breville stainless steel toaster

I heard a story the other day that I wanted to share.  A friend of mine whose mother is a recovering breast cancer patient, has really gotten behind raising money for breast cancer awareness.  She has done anything from hosting bake sales where all the sweets are pink, to selling pink ribbons.  She now even speaks in health classes at local high schools.

Well after developing a lot of relationships at the local high school, the students wanted to get her a gift for all her help.  Knowing that her favorite thing to do is have her coffee and toast in the morning and raising awareness of breast cancer.... they found a Cuisinart Pink Toaster and Boom, the perfect gift!

Being a toaster enthusiast, I thought this was a Great story!  It just shows you that no matter any occasion..... a toaster can be a perfect gift.
